Clouds at distance appear to be going down on the horizon.
Same with the Sun. Yet it is really just following a circle away.

The Sun and Moon move in concentric circles less than 3,000 miles above. The circles grow and contract around the tropics of cancer and capricorn. In N. American winters, the Sun is at its outermost journey down at the Tropic of Cancer and warming the South half of Earth and closer circle overhead in the North during Summer. If we are to believe what you’re saying then is it that the sun should change its size as it moves towards us and from us during the whole day! But it does not! Sun maintains its size throughout the day, it is fact! And small changes that happen is impossible for us to mark this occasion. the sun is enormous and very far from us.
According to their model the sun is much smaller and disappear due. we can see so far ?? Why do I still sun decline and the sun disappearing without changing its size? According to their theory the sun should become less and less as the boat disappearing into the horizon and then eventually so small we can not see it anymore!
On one of their drawings so draws you sun that resize but that is their way of illustration and not what is reality!
Horizon line is always 100% flat for a person who looks into the distance! Because. perspective!
Same goes sun light that spreads through the clouds! That our perspective we see the sun from the Earth!
You as an observer standing on Earth! Parallel light rays is possible to see / observe only if you look at the sun bright on Earth from the side! From your room!

bpd – thanks, this video shows clear evidence of the sun and the horizon. The image of the sun as it reaches the horizon is a full circle. As the video continues, the bottom edge of the circle begins to disappear, and there is an obvious “flat line” base of the sun image at the horizon.
This disappearance of the sun image from the bottom continues, and less and less sun is visible. Eventually, the entire sun image disappears completely, and the sun image is no longer visible as it has passed below the horizon.
These observations are clear and unambiguous, there is no evidence or possibility of the sun remaining above the surface of a flat earth. There is evidence that agrees with an earth that rotates, and a sun in a fixed position would disappear as we see above.

SG Today, thank you for your excellent explanation of what we observe. I wrote about this same thing recently. It’s just so confusing to try to imagine how the sun can remain the same size and disappear bottom first, as we observe it, on a flat earth.
I’m willing to hear arguments that accurately show/describe how flat earth theory applies here, if someone cares to do it.
Shouldn’t the sun shrink to a point on the flat earth? It seems that it would not be able to do what is actually observed.

But when you release a balloon into the air, it just rises into the sky getting smaller instead of going over the horizon. Why are helium filled balloons immune to this “Law of Perspective”? Also if night comes from the sun getting far away, couldn’t you see the sun at night by using a telescope? This doesn’t make sense.

I find it hard to believe people were stupid enough to fall for this vanishing point argument in the 1800’s. But today…. when you have the entirety of human knowledge as far away as google?? You people should be ashamed… NEED to be ashamed. In this perspective argument it is not just the apparent height of an object that gets smaller… the object itself gets smaller too. The sun DOES NOT get smaller! Just as the first picture in this post clearly shows. Wouldn’t you know… the moon doesn’t get smaller either!

Even though the sun and moon are different sizes in their scale or circumference, they look the same size to the bare eyes because they are different distances in space above the earth. Obviously the sun is huge in comparison to the moon and earth, but also much further away in distance. The point of and the angle of observation is where the sun or moon are being watched from no matter where the person doing the observing is on the earth.
The sun or moon coming into view or leaving the view or the viewing point of observation is the vanishing point. Like sunrise or sunset. Please keep in mind our sky or universe is a flat plane. This means the sun and moon are cycling above the earth on flat orbits.
NASA admits that our earth is more flat than spherical, a spheroid shape. If this is true and light travels in straight lines, this means when we view across the large flat surfaces on the earth, the light entering our pupils and our limited human peripheral vision from our height and point of observation causes large expanses of space to appear slightly curved. This curvature can appear slightly downward around the outer edges where the horizon meets the sky.

Do you believe in NASA? They say it’s an oblate spheroid but NASA shows perfect spheres. And do you notice the difference in the size of the North American continent in it’s 2007 picture compared to it’s 2012 picture? That second video you show at 8:30 when it shows the full sunset disproves that the sun is 93 million miles away like we’re told imo. Watch how the sunlight fades across the horizon, it fades locally following the sun. The parts around the sun is more bright while the rest of the horizon is either dim or completely dark. I’ve seen this with my own eyes in real time too when i used to live in the country. If the current heliocentric model was correct the sunlight would fade evenly across the horizon just like you see in one of NASA videos with the terminator line. There’s no way around this and you can’t use the atmosphere as an excuse or explanation.

Of course it’s not a proof. If I had a spaceship I would fly 30 miles high and make some videos and then see what really happens (they have these spaceships and still have not made any decent videos). What we see from officials is also not a firm proof (maybe for some it’s the proof though). If the shape of the place we live in was so obvious we wouldn’t discuss this at all. Speaking of proofs, do we have any real evidences that there was a big bang, that this is gravity at work and not density and mass? How about an experiment that proves the Earth’s rotation and moving through the space with such a velocity? How do we know what’s in the center of the Earth? Look at your hands, body, mind and heart, are we here because of evolution? Where is the proof that mind derived from material things? Peace.

And here I have more questions for you. Things taught in the classes never pay any attention to the spiritual part – the most important part all people have. Without it our physical body is inactive, inert, but alive though. So, let’s say evolution of physical body is real and you can prove it with science. But what the biology (or any other science) says about evolution of mind and soul/spirit and feelings (and/or emotions)? What transitional stages of these things were in between the initial big bang and our current condition? All these things are separated from phisical body and each other, but at the same time are combined together to form our entire integrated body to percieve the world and act in it. If biology proves only evolution of physical body and says nothing about evolution of another components of our body (mind, spirit/soul, feelings/emotions), how can we totally trust (believe) it?

Sorry for delay with the answer. I take into consideration everything, and believe nothing until I have enough of evidence. Since any theory has its pros and cons, I wouldn’t like to be claiming anything without firm evidence.
Unfortunately, google couldn’t help me out with any substantial materials proving evolution of the soul or the mind. I’d be grateful if you provided me with the info worth of attention.

It seems to me that we don’t understand each other clearly. As I said above, The Soul and The Mind are not the parts of our physical body. All those g o o d articles and websites don’t take this into account and describe evolution of soul and mind in terms of evolution of physical body, that’s wrong. So do most of those scientists. They use their own brains and judge for themself, building up their theories on such an axiom as big bang.
The most fun thing is about time. We can say everything we wish because no one lives billions of years to be a witness how everything evolved.
And I have answered your question – I’m not going to make any assumptions about how everything got here. Even if I make it, let it be my own point of view, it doesn’t make any weather at all. But obviously, it makes more sense that there is a purpose for life, rather than it has occured randomly from nothing.
Moreover you also haven’t answered some of my questions above.

That’s right. It’s been also said: while we’re on Earth (in material world) – we should be in our Heart (not in mind/ego). Heart (not physical) is the only thing we can be sure about. It doesn’t change, it is the true human nature. So, we are here to stick to it, then whatever we do – we fulfil the will of God. And evolution or not, round or flat – it’s not that much important. If we lose our Heart and live only in mind, we miss the shot, lose the meaning of our existence – to be what we really are. And people are taught exactly how to lose it.

I’m not taking sides with NASA. I’ve actually heard it called both, a spheroid which is more of a flattened sphere and a oblate spheroid which is considered a pear like shape. When you view the sky as a flat plane it is across large flat open spaces on the earth, the view of the sun and moon at a vanishing point makes perfect sense, that’s all.
Regardless of NASA or Heliocentric view points, the sun and moon are where they have always been. I’m interested in truth, not sides. I realize there are huge problems with the earth being called a perfect round sphere or globe and NASA showing repeatedly perfect round photo shopped images. I’ve not stated otherwise. I also agree we don’t have accurate true to scale maps of the continents and like others I find that odd. I’ve not stated otherwise.
At this point, since we don’t have accurate images from anywhere that all can go to and verify, I believe we live on a flattened round shape as in spheroid, more than a perfectly round globe or oblate spheroid. I agree there are many sun and moon phenomena or illusions that happens that are not easily explained due to humidity, pollution etc. that have nothing to do with the general vanishing points of the sun and moon of which I was referring ….
Maybe do a search on sun and moon phenomena and their illusions will help you find answers you seek.

The law of perspective means the farther the sun is from the observer. The smaller it’s apparent size will be. As you can see in the sunset photograph above. The Suns apparent size never changes.

On a flat earth Pi (3.14159) would rule. You could pick any location as the center. Travel any distance in a straight line. Then make a circle on the earth & get Pi when you divide the circumfrence by the diameter.
The distance around the equator is 24901 miles.
The polar diameter (The distance from the equator to the N/S pole and back to the equator) is 12,430 miles.
Pi= C/d
2.164=24901/12437
Does 2.002= 3.141
It is impossible for the Earth to be flat.

I was referring to vanishing points “only” being caught up in the fascination of learning something different from what I, like everyone else originally learned in school. I don’t have a problem admitting I question the true shape of the earth. If ” the YouTube example is a pie (Pi) in my face in a mathematical way, I’m ok with that..
So please understand, I’m not taking sides with NASA or any group. However, they (NASA having to answer to government regulation, while also maintaining the secrets of National Defense) are in total control of all the images we have of our earth, our solar system and the universe. I question why they keep showing us the same enhanced CGI images of a perfectly round ball earth when they have said themselves the earth is not perfectly round. So what does that statement mean then, exactly? If our earth is pear shaped, okay show us real time images of what a pear shape earth looks like.
If the earth is a spheroid, no problem show us the real time images, the same would be for a disk image which they call the sun and the planets a lot. What does NASA and climate/weather reporting mean by disk then? They (NASA) are the ones who said it was Copernicus who changed the earth image being called a plane to a sphere or PLAN et.
This of course all goes back to the era of enlightenment when it became vogue to change the natural scientific shapes of the time period like circles, squares, triangles which were too “Pagan” in origin for supposedly the more spiritually “enlightened” educated and politically correct elite’s concepts forging a new era.
Many scientist say over and over.. “geocentricism” cannot be disproved on the basics of what it is. For science only (not religion) Heliocentric is about the “SUN” being the identifying star of our solar system. BUT, religion takes this and runs with it to prove or disprove their solar or sun worship agendas.
I question earth speed, size, distance, age of the earth and the universe too so don’t come after me with more pies…lol. Science says the faster something spins the flatter it gets… maybe we are like spaceship ‘earth’. :^)
According to Space science the Heliocentric model has to do with the fact (without the sun, life on earth would die) and for space travel coordinates and/or (mapping). In other words, if we were out traveling the universe in a spacecraft how would we find your way around or back to the earth. With this being said, in John Coleman’s books I mentioned elsewhere on this site says the same elite hierarchal groups wanted to scratch the NASA program, but made the Antarctic Agreement instead. So it seems then, the space science program would be infiltrated with all sorts of secret service and ruled by an Iron fist…
So with everything we know so far, it seems the earth is somewhere between being a flattened not so perfect 3D circle of mud, sand and rock called continents that are floating around and pushing against each other creating mountain ranges above and below sea level … all being held together within our sun’s solar system of orbiting cycles in between the poles of electromagnetic light and water. Call it whatever shape … I leave it there until we have scientific verifiable imagery from outer space.

This does not explain why the sun actually sinks bellow the horizon, Yes, as thing move further away on a plain, they will appear to approach that plane. However, if the sun is higher in altitude than us at all times., it should never sink bellow our line of sight. The further and further away it moves, the more and more slowly should it approach our line of sight if looking straight forward. The sun should never actually dip bellow the horizon on a flat plane such as the ocean. In fact, if I stand on a building, I will have to actually look downward to see the sun disappear below the horizon, meaning it goes far below my horizontal line of sight. If the sun is consistently at a higher altitude than we are, then this should never happen, especially when standing on an object that is higher then the point on the horizon where the sun disappears. The sun should disappear in the sky, not below our line of sight.

Zoop. I am glad you wrote this out. I have the same problem with the way I see the sun set. I don’t understand how the sun goes down over the horizon and all you see is the top half of the sun. If you live on a flat earth, and the sun is very much overhead all the time,as it gets the furthest away from you ,wouldn’t it just appear to get smaller and smaller? But it would never drop under the horizon.
The only explanation I have seen here is the video of the coin being moved away from the viewer across a table and you see it disappear bottom first. But upon examining the video I noticed that the camera is below the table. That doesn’t make sense. Shouldn’t the camera be above the top of the table with the coin even higher?

Please explain the rising/setting sun or moon seen as being divided by the horizon when looking seaward? I don’t see how this can possibly be explained in terms of perspective, especially when viewed from sea level on a clear day and seen to be quite large and clearly not “melting into the horizon”.
Also, please explain the direct relationship between antenna heights and the range of marine vhf (line of sight) ship to ship transmissions. The heights and ranges correlate directly with the standard “distance to horizon calculation”. This is applied science proven over the 100 year life span of marine radio communications.
Another example of applied science is celestial navigation, which is based on a spherical earth, has been in practice for over 200 years, and provided mariners a highly accurrate means of determining their position anywhere on the planet.

Celestial navigation calculations have nothing to do with a spherical earth but angular measurements of celestial bodies in reference to the visible horizon.
