Calculate the deviation on 340ËšC where H = 16.3A/m.
If you increase altitude the distance to the horizon increases. this why sailors has crows nests or were posted aloft, why lighthouses are high and lookout posts on the tops of cliffs not on the shore. It is also why you can normally only see the tops of buildings across large expanses of water. i.e. Earth is not flat.
