To make this “lie” plausible they would of been lying to us for much much longer then 50yrs. It’s the amount of time, the hundreds of thousands of people throughout history, the number of companies and organizations globally that make it implausible.
The reason, I believe, why people say what does it matter? Is because let’s face it flat or not in the morning our alarm is going to go off and we all still have to go to work. We are still capable of having a fun exciting life.
If the “lie” is true then just based on the sheer size of it and how long it’s been going on, they have clearly won. A few people crying on the internet and arguing amongst one another will never be able to stop them. So like I and others have said who cares? Go out and enjoy your life. Maybe instead of living on the internet believing what you read based on your belief, try going out into the world and seek the answers for yourself first hand.

Unfortunately i am just now finding this website.
After pilfering the internet for reliable flate earth resources. Im actually new to this as well but it seems that a lot of the links here on the FAQ page are inactive and have been taken down. Why is that and is there another place I can get these questions answered like gravity, tides, seasons, circumnavigation of the earth, and picture and video evidence from space.

I’m new to this flat earth idea. I’m very curious about it. When I brought it up to my wife, just like all the other “conspiracies” I mentioned, I could tell she thought it was crazy. Then I started showing her some things and even just told her I’m just open to the possibility. She then asked the same question, “so what if it is flat?” And I thought; I guess yeah, it doesn’t matter. Does it really change anything? What are the chances of a global exposure of NASA’s lies surfacing? Until them, I’ll be in the crazy category.
But isn’t it interesting? What if it was flat? How enlightening would it be to find this out? Mind blown, right?
I think a more important and viable question is “How do we know the earth is round?” How can we trust that everything we’ve been taught is true? I bet all answers lead to because NASA or scientism told us so.

Welcome, it’s a big, big subject and takes considerable time to get your head around before trying to convince others if you don’t have a working knowledge of FE theory and the many, many lies by NASA (Not A Space Agency).
I generally get the same questions:
1) So how could they pull it off for so long
ez, we’re all sheeple programmed by the TV. We all grew up watching it and NASA made everyone hook into one feed for the faked Apollo missions.
2) So what if it is Flat?
So what? that means we are the center of the universe, not some speck of planet, one of billions and billions. We are the biggest game in the Universe and we are exposing a 500 year of more lie that can bring down the entire corrupt gov’t, et. al. So what? Wtf?

every pic, every single story comes from just one source, just one.
also, FE model has a round Earth, like a disc, but not a rapidly spinning ball at over 1,000 mph, that we never feel a thing.

I can’t believe people asking the question what does it matter anyway. I get the same response when I’m talking to apathetic people about the flat earth. This lie is the biggest of the lies in history and the fact if mankind can actually form a consensus about this lies the others may fall down . I don’t mind yelling this from the top of tall buildings and looking the fool to plant seeds into the apathetic . I want generations of our children to Benefit by getting these snakes away from power . The one thing about this lie is it can be tested with observation and measurements , so it can be tested even by the biggest skeptics , I’m hopeful.

Hi I have a question about space. If rockets have no traction in the vacuum of space , and would just spin in a circle . A lady at work mentioned the thrusters being used for momentum

I reached out several times on YouTube to Eric Dubay and got no response. Other like minded people did comment that they’d be interested in buying one also.
It’d certainly be good to have a flat earth at home showing the basic movements of the Sun and Moon and how they illuminate the surface of Earth.

If the earth is flat and the sun is moving in a circular path above the disk then why does an observer in the north pole see the sun fixed in the same place for 24 hrs, say in a day like the winter solstice? He should see the sun moving all days. And also why are either poles deprived of sunlight for half a year?
And why do we have variable seasons like summer or winter?
A big question mark for FES.

I’m not sure I follow your line of questioning. The Sun moves in a circle, like a needle on a record player, it is more visible in Summer because the circle is smaller and closer to the North Pole, so is more visible, longer.

jwlpeace, I am confused. Doesn’t the sun on the FE model rotate around over us in a circle? I thought it goes overhead along the equator, round and round. You describe the sun moving in a spiral. What happens when it gets to the middle at the north pole? Does it reverse its course and spiral the other direction? That’s why I’d like to have a model to refer to.

I am impressed at how civil and polite all you “flat-earthers” are! Wow. How refreshing in this day and age. I must say, my friend recently introduced me to this FE concept, and I do not have trouble believing it so far. I have questions, of course, but it looks as if I may find a LOT of answers on this website. You know, I never could remember that the earth was supposed to be spinning around the sun, even as a little girl. It did not make sense to me then and it still does not make sense now. I am excited to learn about this FE possibility with all of you. And yes…think of the myriads of lies and treachery this may bring to light.

The link to why the stars go the opposite direction in the south was taken offline. Do you know of any good sources to explain this phenomenon? So far, even having been a raised by a scientist, flat earth makes more sense than any other explanation of the universe I have come across. The star trails and south pole star are the only issues I have that are unresolved and I want to understand this. Thank you! Feel free to email me.

I live in New Zealand and have flown to Antarctica. I can say with certainty that there is no pole star over the southern “hemisphere.” From New Zealand we can clearly see the southern cross by which I taught my daughters to always be able to find true south by. During the southern summer (during northern winter) the sun goes around the sky in a big circle, just like in a northern summer at high latitudes.

The quantum model is at odds with the current theory of general relativity. This has nothing to do with the accepted model of the atom. Secondly, land mammals did not evolve into aquatic animals. The earth is rotating very quickly and speeding through the universe very fast, yet we don’t feel that, so why would the current model make sense? why don’t we feel like we’re spinning and moving at thousands of kilometers per second? Well… go on a bus. Wait for it to move. When it’s maintaining a steady speed, jump up. You won’t move. So a revolving sphere makes sense and is allowed.
Give me _benefits_ of the earth being told as a globe when in reality is a plane? What good is there in spreading a lie like that?
You know what’s absurd? A bubble dividing earth from heaven. You know what isn’t absurd? The density of gases in the atmosphere slowly decreasing as elevation increases, until it is seemingly a vacuum (space).
Go watch a rocket launch in person. Explain where it goes if there is a ‘firmament’ in the way.
Gravity is not always 9.8m/s/s. There are parts of the earth where gravity is less than that, and parts that are more than that due to density. Explain how that model works with a flat earth.
If one of your arguments is a painting from the 18th century, let me prove dragons exist with paintings as early as the 4th century BCE.
You *can* see the curvature of the earth from high enough altitudes, and if you ever decided to go investigate and collect real data, you’d see why you’re wrong.
I can take a picture of a curved earth. You can’t take a picture of the earth’s edge. Now what would you believe? A photo or a guess.

However, an “assumed” scientific theorem once accepted as fact by a hierarchal peer review goes through an evolutionary process of steps in time until the theory needs to be revisited due to learned or proven fallacies in its original assumption. Then the theory is supposed to be updated in view of better research with an alternative equal explanation or the theory as stated becomes archaic and history due to a shift of conscious intellectual ability. It was to these religious scientific hierarchal controlled steps that I was referring.

The analogy of the elephant and the ant which is a “perspective” (point of view) and “perception” (mental impression) is based on the very real limitations of our human senses that can and will keep the physical mind imprisoned in an illusion of reality, which you are referring to as Maya.
I’ve stated other times here that I personally believe in an “Intelligent Design” of all creation being interconnected within cycles, dimensions, planes, and spheres as well as organized mainstream religion and modern science are difficult to keep separate when discussing the FE as a response to other comments or complaints of not wanting FE to end up in a religious debate.
With that being said, one of the founding principals of modern mainstream science is that assumed scientific theories and the hierarchical institution of peer review accepted explanations and or solutions are to be based on physical observable reality and not based on any religious belief system. This is one reason why modern science caters mostly to “atheism” because it is believed “GOD” will not be written into the accepted objective equation.
Ram, whether someone believes your or my spiritual interpretation for a better researched explanation by a qualified spiritual minded scientist of degrees does not change the facts of my original comment, which is the very real injustice present within the hierarchy system of the modern mainstream institution that caters to the objectivity of its wealthy overlords whether that is in the schools and universities, donation boards or other special interest groups such as monopolizing corporations as well as to meet political objectives and technology contracts to keep the taxpayer budget research money coming in.

It’s an interesting idea to look into, just for the philosophical aspect, but I do not in any way believe you should be so rude to the government, for the simple reason that it is pointless to cover it up (to expensive, large problems if found, ect, ect). I have a question that nobody seems to want to answer. Explain point to point travel times and distances? I can book flights from South Africa to Australia or South Africa to Argentina or even LA to Australia. We know how far has to be traveled the speed the airplane travels. Therefore we know how long it takes to get from point to point. A flat earth means the point to point distances(especially in the southern hemisphere) are far greater then we already know them to be. Which means these flight times would have to be far longer then they actually are or airplanes travel at speeds they can’t go.

As a christian and one who has flown to antatarctica twice, I can say it is quite a lovely place. Beautiful in fact. None of us could take our eyes off it when we flew over the coast. Yes there are some walls but not across the Ross ice shelf where the US and New Zealand stations are. We also flew deep inland and there is certainly no “edge.” Seeing the sun go around the sky in a big circle was really different. Does the flat earth affect our time keeping. Currently because people believe the earth orbits around the sun, time is kept using a 365.2425 days system.
But the earth does not move, so does that also mean that the way time is supposedly kept is also a lie along with the teaching of the earth orbiting the sun.

I am very interested in the FE theory and so called “fossil fuels.” The FE doesn’t really effect us, but it is the fact that “NASA” and the government has been lying to us, for how long? And if they are lying about something as “small” as this, than who knows all the other stuff they are hiding from us. (It’s only the tip of the iceberg!) “Fossil fuels” are what upsets me the most. They are scaring people with their bs of a lie, so they have an excuse to suck the money from us. Gas prices are rising, government is lying, our US dollar is worth 50cents. All because of the mainstream media, people are so addicted to the news, twitter, any social media. Even Google is lying to us, hopefully everyone knows that. So, yes FE does not really matter, or I guess it won’t really effect us, but just think for 30 seconds, if they are lying about some silly thing like flat earth vs sphere, what else are they hiding. Cause sure enough something is going to happen to make us realize that they are manipulating the economy. Just wait.
