In Ancient Chinese, the early Jesuit scholars were the first Europeans to gain access to the Chinese ‘book of all knowledge’ from ancient times. This 4,320-volume collection told of the repercussions of mankind’s rebellion against the gods: “The Earth was shaken to its foundations. The sky sank lower towards the north. The sun, moon, and stars changed their motions. The Earth fell to pieces and the waters in its bosom rushed upwards with violence and overflowed the Earth.”
The legend of Nvwa Mending the Sky is one of the most representative myths about the world creation in ancient China. Legend has it that in remote antiquity, the four pillars supporting the sky suddenly broke and as a result, the sky had chasms and couldn’t fully cover the earth. The land on earth also spilt open and couldn’t sustain things on top of it. At that time, raging flames ripped through the earth, where torrential flood water, ferocious beasts and birds also wrecked havoc on people’s lives.
Seeing that human beings were suffering such disasters, Nvwa tried everything she could to mend the sky. She selected all types of five-coloured stones, melted them into slurry over fire and filled the chasms with the slurry. Later, she cut off the feet of a big turtle to prop up the sky. Afterwards, she killed the black dragon that caused floods and other disasters and the ferocious beasts and birds harming people. At last, she burnt reeds into ashes and piled them up to block flood water. Thus, disasters were conquered and mankind was saved.
There was a fight between the god of water Gonggong and the god of fire Zhurong. When Gonggong lost the fight, he smashed his head against Mount Buzhou out of fury. Since Mount Buzhou was a pillar holding up the sky, the sky began to fall and caused a lot of damage. Because of that, people’s lives became miserable. Nüwa was really concerned about her people so she picked out colourful stones in Mount Tiantai and used them to seal the broken sky. In this way peace and happiness returned to mankind.
Belief in a flat Earth is found in mankind’s oldest writings. In early Mesopotamian thought, the world was portrayed as a flat disk floating in the ocean, and this forms the premise for early Greek maps such as those of Anaximander and Hecataeus of Miletus.
Some theologians and biblical researchers maintain that at least some of the writers of the Old Testament books of the Bible had a Babylonian world view, according to which Earth is flat and stands on pillars, and is covered by a solid sky-dome (the Firmament). The firmament was the heaven in which God set the sun ( Psalm 19:5) and the stars ( Gen 1:14). The flat earth concept appears to be mentioned in ( Isaiah 40:22) where it speaks of God “dwelling above the circle of earth” which means a literal circle, from the Hebrew word “chuwg”.

WOULD you like to earn $5,000? If you can prove that the world is a sphere, floating in space, turning on its own axis, revolving around the sun, you can earn a prize of that amount. Such a prize has been posted for years, offered by Wilbur Glenn Voliva, general overseer of Zion, 111., home of the Christian Catholic Apostolic Church, founded some thirty years ago by the late John Alexander Dowie.
Many have tried to claim the $5,000—and all have failed. The catch is that your proof must not start with the assumption that the world is round, or rather a globe, for Voliva believes the world is round, but a round, flat disc rather than a sphere. Without that basic premise that the earth is spherical no one has found an absolutely convincing proof that Voliva is wrong when he describes his disc-shaped world, firmly planted on its foundations, surrounded by a wall of ice to keep mariners from falling off the edge, and surmounted by a crystal dome in which the stars are hung like chandeliers to light the night. Nor can you submit proof to absolutely disprove the belief of Voliva that the sun, instead of being an 800,000 mile ball of fire more than ninety millions of miles away is really a fairly insignificant affair, only some 27 to 30 miles in diameter and about 3,000 miles above the earth. Or that the sun and moon move in orbits while the earth stands still, that the moon is about the same size as the sun and the same distance from the earth, shines by its own light, and moves in much the same orbit as the sun.

Moon is luminous. When they measure the the bright side of the moon is colder than the dark side( there are videos of measuring in flat out truth channel as well) and if it was reflecting sun’s light it would be warmer just like everything else that touches sunlight.
Truth is easy to find if u let go of the false reality that you feel comfortable in.

In one section you say the moon and sun are 27-33 miles in diameter. In another section you say they both are 233 miles across. Did you accidentally delete the 7 and the dash in the second statement?

FE Models estimate the Moon and Sun to be 27-33 miles in diameter. The Height in the sky said to be 700-3000 miles yet it “feels” and “appears” much closer to me.

Yet if the sun or moon were 33 miles in diameter, and only 700 miles away, they would appear about 2.7 degrees wide to the eye. And at 3000 miles away, they’d appear to be about 0.63 degrees wide. Yet both the sun and the moon appear about 0.5 degrees wide, and don’t vary much in angular appearance. The “FE Models” are worthless.

All the so called ‘flat earth’ diagrams are so obviously drawn up to display appearances from a Northern hemisphere biased perspective – if you TRULY believe in your erroneous theory i challenge you to come and visit and live with me a while in Australia – South of the Tropic of Cancer and see where the OBVIOUS factual flaws are in all the ‘Northerner’ falacious diagrams. It is a FACT of Nature and indisputable that there is a Southern Celestial pole around which ALL visible stars rotate ( with NO “Pole Star’! – I can truthfully witness it any night of the year) There is also a geographic South Pole as well as a seperate South Magnetic pole . I challenge you to define all three of those on your diagrams.
If the sun rotates around YOUR North pole once every 24 hours just HOW, exactly, Can it be visible from the shores of Antarctica for 90 days in a row and how is it possible people in the high Northern Latitudes do not see it at all for the same period ( i.e.in Northern Winter. ) When the FACTS such as these are obvious it is a sad self-deluded fool who disregards them or explains them as simply ‘mysteries’.
Put up ( facts ) that explain what i can prove to be true ( or at the very least better represents our daily reality) – or shut up and wake up to the truth of God’s miraculous Universe.

No, the flat earth models and diagrams are drawn up to represent the reality in which we all live. There is no “southern hemisphere”. Everything you stated/asked has been addressed by the flat earth model, you just obviously haven’t done the extensive research/reading required to understand this.

Before reaching the Antarctic ice-wall, navigating the increasingly tumultuous Southern oceans, explorers encounter the longest, darkest, coldest nights and the most dangerous seas and storms anywhere on Earth. Vasco de Gama, an early 16th century Portuguese explorer of the South Seas wrote how, “The waves rise like mountains in height; ships are heaved up to the clouds, and apparently precipitated by circling whirlpools to the bed of the ocean. The winds are piercing cold, and so boisterous that the pilot’s voice can seldom be heard, whilst a dismal and almost continual darkness adds greatly to the danger.”
In 1773 Captain Cook became the first modern explorer known to have breached the Antarctic Circle and reached the ice barrier. During three voyages, lasting three years and eight days, Captain Cook and crew sailed a total of 60,000 miles along the Antarctic coastline never once finding an inlet or path through or beyond the massive glacial wall! Captain Cook wrote: “The ice extended east and west far beyond the reach of our sight, while the southern half of the horizon was illuminated by rays of light which were reflected from the ice to a considerable height. It was indeed my opinion that this ice extends quite to the pole, or perhaps joins some land to which it has been fixed since creation.”
On October 5th, 1839 another explorer, James Clark Ross began a series of Antarctic voyages lasting a total of 4 years and 5 months. Ross and his crew sailed two heavily armored warships thousands of miles, losing many men from hurricanes and icebergs, looking for an entry point beyond the southern glacial wall. Upon first confronting the massive barrier Captain Ross wrote of the wall, “extending from its eastern extreme point as far as the eye could discern to the eastward. It presented an extraordinary appearance, gradually increasing in height, as we got nearer to it, and proving at length to be a perpendicular cliff of ice, between one hundred and fifty feet and two hundred feet above the level of the sea, perfectly flat and level at the top, and without any fissures or promontories on its even seaward face. We might with equal chance of success try to sail through the cliffs of Dover, as to penetrate such a mass.”

If the Earth were truly a globe, then every line of latitude South of the equator would have to measure a gradually smaller and smaller circumference the farther South traveled. In other words, the circumference at 10 degrees South latitude would comprise a smaller circle than at the equator, 20 degrees South latitude would comprise a circle smaller than 10, and so on. If, however, the Earth is an extended plane, then every line of latitude South of the equator should measure a gradually larger and larger circumference the farther South traveled. 10 degrees South latitude will comprise a larger circle than the equator, 20 degrees South latitude will comprise a circle larger than 10, and so on. Likewise, if the Earth were a globe, lines of longitude would bubble out at the equator while converging at both poles. Whereas if the Earth is an extended plane, lines of longitude should simply expand straight outwards from the North Pole. So which is actually the case?
“Upon the principle, as taught by Scripture and common observation, that the world is not a Planet, but consists of vast masses of land stretched out upon level seas, the North being the centre of the system, it is evident that the degrees of longitude will gradually increase in width the whole way from the North centre to the icy boundary of the great Southern Circumference. In consequence of the difference between the actual extent of longitudes and that allowed for them by the Nautical Authorities, which difference, at the latitude of the Cape of Good Hope, has been estimated to amount to a great number of miles, many Ship-masters have lost their reckoning, and many vessels have been wrecked. During Captain James Clark Ross’s voyages around the Antarctic circumference, he often wrote in his journal perplexed at how they routinely found themselves out of accordance with their charts, stating that they found themselves an average of 12-16 miles outside their reckoning every day, some days as much as 29 miles. Lieutenant Charles Wilkes commanded a United States Navy exploration expedition to the Antarctic from August 18th, 1838 to June 10th, 1842, almost four years spent “exploring and surveying the Southern ocean.” In his journals Lieutenant Wilkes also mentioned being consistently east of his reckoning, sometimes over 20 miles in less than 18 hours.
“The commanders of these various expeditions were, of course, with their education and belief in the earth’s rotundity, unable to conceive of any other cause for the differences between log and chronometer results than the existence of currents. But one simple fact is entirely fatal to such an explanation, viz., that when the route taken is east or west the same results are experienced. The water of the southern region cannot be running in two opposite directions at the same time; and hence, although various local and variable currents have been noticed, they cannot be shown to be the cause of the discrepancies so generally observed in high southern latitudes between time and log results. The conclusion is one of necessity, forced upon us by the sum of the evidence collected that the degrees of longitude in any given southern latitude are larger than the degrees in any latitude nearer to the northern center; thus proving the already more than sufficiently demonstrated fact that the earth is a plane, having a northern center, in relation to which degrees of latitude are concentric, and from which degrees of longitude are diverging lines, continually increasing in their distance from each other as they are prolonged towards the great glacial southern circumference.” -Dr. Samuel Rowbotham, “Zetetic Astronomy: Earth Not a Globe!” (261)

The equatorial circumference of the supposed ball-Earth is said to be 24,900 statute or 21,600 nautical miles. A nautical mile is the distance, following the supposed curvature of the Earth, from one minute of latitude to the next. A statue mile is the straight line distance between the two, not taking into account Earth’s alleged curvature.
The “Australian Handbook, Almanack, Shippers’ and Importers’ Directory” states that the distance between Sydney and Nelson is 1400 nautical or 1633 statute miles. Allowing a more than sufficient 83 miles as the distance for rounding Cape Farewell and sailing up Tasman Bay to Nelson leaves 1550 statute miles as the straight-line distance from the meridian of Sydney to the meridian of Nelson. Their given difference in longitude is 22 degrees 2’14”. Therefore if 22 degrees 2’14” out of 360 is 1550 miles, the entirety measures 25,182 miles. This is larger than the Earth is said to be at the equator, and 4262 miles greater than it would be at Sydney’s southern latitude on a globe of said proportions! One 360th part of 25,182 gives 70 miles as the distance between each degree of longitude at Sydney’s 34 degree Southern latitude. On a globe 25,000 miles in equatorial circumference, however, degrees of longitude at 34 degrees latitude would be only 58 miles, a full 12 miles per degree less than reality. This perfectly explains why Ross and other navigators in the deep South experienced 12+ mile daily discrepancies between their reckoning and reality, the farther South traveled the farther the divide.

Therefore the whole extent of the Earth’s circumference is a mere arithmetical question. Similar calculations made from the Cape of Good Hope, South Africa to Melbourne, Australia at an average latitude of 35.5 degrees South, have given an approximate figure of over 25,000 miles, which is again equal to or greater than the Earth’s supposed greatest circumference at the equator. Calculations from Sydney, Australia to Wellington, New Zealand at an average of 37.5 degrees South have given an approximate circumference of 25,500 miles, greater still! According to the ball-Earth theory, the circumference of the Earth at 37.5 degrees Southern latitude should be only 19,757 statute miles, almost six thousand miles less than such practical measurements.

How would you explain the distance, visibility of constellations seasonally (and below equator), nightly movement of what we see overhead (during one night),
Basically, can you explain (or provide a link) how all these things continually move in a variety of ways and are also easily visible to all who look up our entire life?
BTW, NASA didn’t exist when the math was established and stellar distances were initially calculated, so you may need to find blame elsewhere.

has nobody here ever just taken a telescope and looked at the moon… you people are retarded.. when looking at the moon thru a telescope, like i have been doing for a decade, you can clearly see the tops of craters being illuminated by the suns light, and since the moon is round, like the earth and everything else in the universe, this is made possible.

There is NO room in any flat earth diagram i know of for the existence in the sky of the SOUTH pole around which ALL stars rotate down here. Show me a representation of earth and the sky that incorporates it and you might just çonvert me.

I’m curious if you’ve found any imagery / artwork with the ‘portals’ described in the book of Enoch. Basically it reads that the sun and the moon enter and exit the firmament through ‘portals’ and has to do with the phases of the moon losing and gaining luminescence in increments of 7ths. There’s also another school of thought among FE that there are whirlpools near the center North Pole (Mt. Meru) that release and accept water causing the tides every six hours. Anything on those?

Amateur astronomers all over the world can independently prove the earth is a sphere. Why would they lie? Is someone paying them, all over the world, for hundreds of years? And what would be the point? Who could possibly gain anything from paying off all those people? It would be a impossible task to try to keep everyone in the world to believe a lie, and for what?
The US isn’t the only country with a space program. You really think they all get together and cooperate on lying to their citizens? Good luck trying to get them all to agree on anything, much less a gigantic coverup.

I would like one of you FE people to explain to everyone the transit of Venus, for those who don’t know what it is, it is an event that occurs on average once every 120 years on earth, in which the planet Venus passes between the earth and the sun. It was observed by Captain Cook in 1768 in Tahiti and also by 2 other groups on different parts of the Earth as a means of measuring the size of the Earth itself via triangulation. How does this occur? I can’t wait to hear your ridiculous answers.
