What a waste of time to follow several motionless readouts after leveling a board to the local “flatness” once the car is stopped.

Of course, an accelerometer won’t be useful when stationary; likewise for a simulated gyroscope (or angular velocity, if you will).

It would help to perform a sample test that actually shows how the measuring device shows readings of movement that you believe simulates a globe rotation. Without such examples, the device isn’t even proven to measure anything of value.

Did you think you could fool us into thinking that a plane and a parked car should be comparable in any sense?

Better luck designing an useful test next time. At least you could enjoy the scenery.

How many plum bobs can you check over a distance being parallel to each other no matter what the distance. They are always 90 degrees from level and all plum bobs world wide are parallel. No curve and proof of flat gravity and flat level water. Its why big cities buildings don’t start to angle away from each other over the imagined curve. They post those pictures of city buildings angling from each other on a globe to make fun of how dumb people are to believe in a globe.

So we have this spinning ball we all stand on?. Besides, possibly, the Tower of Pisa how did we ever manage to build anything vertical to the centre of the Earth (90º to a flat – or should that be level Earth?) using a good old fashioned, and until now, faithful plumbline/ plumb bob. Half a degree out at a metre will be several meters off vertical at the top of a skyscraper) Maybe they just look vertical as they are inclined at the same angle we are? And according to the laws of our esteemed scientists in as follows.

“In Newtonian mechanics, the term centrifugal force is used to refer to an inertial force (also called a ‘fictitious’ force) directed away from the axis of rotation”,( At 90º to the axis not the centre of the sphere )
“In physics, the Coriolis force is an inertial force (also called a fictitious force) that acts on objects that are in motion relative to a rotating reference frame. In a reference frame with clockwise rotation, the force acts to the left of the motion of the object. In one with anticlockwise rotation, the force acts to the right (Wikipedia)

As per above the plumbline should sway outward away from the earth axis ( except perhaps directly on the equator, but more exagerated as the poles are approached)due to the centrifugal force and towards the west off vertical due to the coriolis effect of a spinning orb. (Rotating West to East maximum deflection at equator where the ground speed is highest)
They say snipers and gunners have to calculate the coriolis effect when shooting which is over a relatively short distance and time duration. Why then do aircraft, also flying unattached to the Earth, much like a bullet but aloft for magnitudes of time longer, remain unaffected. Or even a ball hit or thrown into the air, maybe there is an entrepreneurial opportunity to develop a Golfer’s Coriolis Correctional Calculator (GC³) as their ball is in the air far longer over similar distances than a bullet? They thought they were slicing or hooking the shot!
