Includes Flat Earth Air routes and mileage added in. Proof positive of Flat EArth. You can order this map on EBAY and is of high quality. It was made by for British Airways

This is perfect – the map actually disproves itself when you read the printed information in several of the corner sections. It describes how this, or any projection distorts the real information.
The distance chart details why there are distances at southern latitudes that are not consistent with north-south or northern latitude distances.
It mentions that the straight lines are not actual flight paths, and how great-circle paths would actually be found for realistic paths.
It clearly mentions how this is a map of the globe, not a freestanding map of the earth.
In a nutshell, posting this on an FE site is lying to that audience, not unexpected sometimes.
Something a shill or dishonest person would do. Nice job!

if you read it carefully, the military made the map for British Airways pilots to use. So the distances are accurate but lead others to debunk it, when the distances are accurate.. don’t believe everything you interpret…fact u all!

A few topics you avoided:
Distance CHARTS – please explain why this is an FE feature.
Great Circle – please explain why this is needed on an FE.
Map of a globe – Please explain why this supports an FE idea.
BTW – which distances are accurate; the numbers or the lengths of the lines? Would they vary if this flat map projection was in reality the actual representation of earth?

Yeah, it clearly states in the upper right corner that this map is a projection of a globe onto a flat map.
It’s the same as always. Those spreading FE are either monumentally stupid, or very evil people knowingly spreading lies.

These globeheads that believe anything the government tells them (or who work for the government, could be either), don’t understand that nothing is done with admitting. Of course the map would say that it’s a projection of a globe on a flat surface. Why would it say, “yes, the earth is flat, we admit it?”. So the two comments above me are foolish to the max.

Jess –

So, one of these is true, and the other is not. What about the useful feature of (visually inconsistent) distances; where is the truth in that part of the map (the length of the line, of the number on the line)?

Anything put to paper is by necessity a flat rendition. The result is always 2 dimensional, even when projecting 3 dimensional forms. We move about in a 3 dimensional reality. Maps are designed to get us around the 3 dimensional space. Lines are conceptual. We know the shortest distance between 2 points (also conceptual) is a straight line.
If we understand geometry we know there is NO straight line OR flat surface on a sphere.
Yet we have lighthouses and compasses and gyroscopes that DO work and can ONLY work over a flat and stationary surface. Horizon and horizontal are ONLY possible on a flat plane.
All my life I believed their globe lie. Unquestioning. But no longer. I trust my eyes and other senses over the institutions, the teevee, and nasa.

“Fact” you all —
The governments of the world lie to their populations. Routinely. So doublespeak from governments and militaries should be expected. Nothing can be trusted at face value. As poolman said, I trust what I see and know, not what I’m told. You can trust a bunch of liars, if you want.

Jess, so is this map an example of FE? You see it; do you know what it is?
Do you know why it is posted here with the tagline “proof positive of flat earth”?
Did this post prove anything to you?
What do the noted inconsistencies lead you to understand about this map?

“Fact”YouAll — I have seen many examples of when the military/government uses maps, they will often use this flat earth map. Too coincidental. Anyway if you don’t believe it, and if you think it’s all bollocks, why are you even debating it? There’s tons of stuff that I don’t believe in, and I wouldn’t waste one second talking about those things. You’re too brilliant for everyone here, so leave us to our folly.

Why do you call it an FE map when it says clearly on the map itself that it’s a projection of a globe?
There is one aspect where the map is accurate – it accurately shows the distance from the North Pole to any point. It does not accurately reflect distances between other points. For example, Sydney and Santiago are not as far from each other as depicted in the map.

Yes sir , this is a Mercator projection map who has in past days they simple called then flat rarth navegation chartst. In deed these have to get flat, otherwise, how can you make a paper flat map.?

This is a 2 dimensional representation of a globe. It’s stretched out to feature all the continents and the oceans. You can tell this by the time zone longitude and latitudes are different shapes to denote a spherical shape in a flat surface. You can also see how the outer countries are, “squashed” because this is showing a 2 dimensional representation of a GLOBE.
