Hubble pointed its newest and most advanced camera toward the solar system’s most massive planet on April 3, capturing Jupiter in exquisite detail. Atmospheric features down to a scale of 81 miles (130 kilometers) can be seen in this Wide Field Camera 3 image.
Jupiter is said to be 46 million miles away and NASA can provide a clear full photograph/image, yet none still of Earth. Hmmmm. If they did publish a live cam, or real photo of Earth with the North and South poles and a spinning ball, all Flat Earth discussion goes away.
re: “Jupiter is said to be 46 million miles away and NASA can provide a clear full photograph/image”
This seems to accept the Jupiter photo as a real thing, and acceptable evidence that this planet is round. Presumably, a series of such images with a precession of features across the face of the image would also be acceptable evidence that Jupiter was spherical.
If the above are logically correct, then spherical planets, in general, do exist.
What would be the acceptance criteria for a similar photo of earth, whereby ir would satisfy your comment: “yet none still of Earth” and ” If they did publish a live cam, or real photo of Earth”?
I think anyone wanting to post a picture should be able to understand the rules of evidence, so theirs and your time is not wasted on meaningless attempts.
Can you help us out with this question?
Thanks.
