    This video refers to a “curved ocean horizon”, but doesn’t clearly describe, especially in any math terms, what we would see on a globe,

    If you are trying to disprove something, you need to clearly state the condition that is claimed to be true, but that doesn’t exist, due to the details you then provide.

    Nothing like that is done here (AFAIK) so It clearly seems this is a flawed argument.

    High tide level twice a day is the same. Gravity and centrifugal force caused by the moon will be action and reaction. Centrifugal force is not fictitious.
