   Can anyone help point out where the video supports the claim made in the title of this post? In the very short video I watched, I heard no admission like that. (??)

     Here’s a quote from the man (starts 0.36s) ‘right now, we can only fly in earth’s orbit, thats the farthest we can go…this new system we are building will allow us to go beyond and hopefully take humans into the solar system to explore…the moon, mars, asteroids….’

       tony,

       If you are in an earth orbit, you are by definition in space. So, I’m still looking for an answer.

       As an aside – as far as I know, there is no launch vehicle that matches the Apollo program as far as the ability for a human to leave earth orbit. But that has nothing to do with not being in space.
