    Vessel information doesn’t use GPS. Maybe you should have checked that fact before making the video? I’m not saying that GPS exists, I’m simply saying that the information given in this app doesn’t come from the GPS but instead uses AIS. #justsaying

    This guy has no idea how a GPS device works – it receives a signal from the satellite, but doesn’t send anything out for a website to track and put online. That’s just crazy!

    You have no idea how GPS works. You have no idea how AIS works. Your cited websites are not the only source of information. Try this website and it will show you how many ships are in the open ocean. http://www.marinetraffic.com/en/ais/home/centerx:-50/centery:32/zoom:5

    You three who commented that refute what the video stated don’t know that you can’t even get cell service in the deep woods, or desolate areas period! You know why? cause there are very few if any cell towers, plus all the trees block the frequencies. If a satelite is flying up above, then you should be able to have cell service period, but nope, no satelites either exist!
