There is no indication of the angle of view at any point in the video, but at 2:31 the sun is visible, and its size indicates that the total view is no more that 20 times the angular size of the sun. The angular size of the sun is just over half a degree, so the field of view of the horizon is perhaps between 5 and 12 degrees, i.e. the image is taken with a telephoto lens. No visible curvature would be expected with a telephoto lens.
From the FE perspective, why is there an “edge” at all? Please explain it to me.

Would a telephoto lens also cause the “inverse” curve in the near left foreground of whatever the dark line is?

Is that not just part of the balloon, or whatever was used for this, so it may not be straight? I am not a lens expert, but there could be a distortion which has given this shape to the object and would also minimise any curvature. My main point is that it seems to be accepted that you need a reasonably wide angle view (60 degrees plus?) to see any curvature of the horizon, and these images don’t get close to that.
