Flat Earth Unsolved Mysteries

Dear All FE Researchers, Investigators and Truthers,

Though some will say they know for sure that the Earth is Flat some of us still have some questions to answer.

I’ve been at it for almost two years solid and here are questions I, and other FE researchers still haven’t found plausible, rational, reasonable answers to.

All positive comments towards answers, as well as questions of your own, are appreciated.  FE’er’s should not be afraid to question and rethink, as well as admit that there are some things they just don’t have answers to.

If we had the research budget of NASA, just think what we could learn for sure!

Thanx

1) If you can bring a ship back from the horizon with a telescope to prove FE, why can’t we bring back the sun at sunset with a telescope of long zoomed lens?

2) If proving that the Sun and Moon are not hundreds of thousands and millions of miles away because we can see clouds behind them, and the Moon and Sun are said to be just over 3,000 miles up in the sky, how can we still see clouds behind them? Are there clouds up at 3,000 miles?

3) At sunset, how can we see clouds lit from the underside if the Sun is in circle moving away from the viewer, yet still staying 3,000 miles in the air?

Others?

    1. Just as you can’t endlessly bring the ship back into view as it reaches the vanishing point, so it is when the sun reaches the vanishing point
    2. I don’t think we are seeing clouds behind the sun and moon, the clouds appear to vanish due to glare.
    3. upward reflections from bodies of water?

    Just one’s opinion

      Good thoughts and observations.

I have not personally taken a telescope or high powered camera zoom at sunset to see if true. anyone?
So if its glare, then maybe it is an optical illusion that clouds are going “behind” the moon and sun, which makes that argument against heliocentrism mute?
love the water reflection postulation. makes sense. can we prove it on a smaller scale with a flashlight and water. Anyone?

      thank you.

      thanx.

Clouds consist of water droplets. Variation in temperature will occasionally turn water droplets into ice crystals. This enhances the luminosity of the suns rays as they pass through it. This is a regular occurrence with lower or middle level clouds depending on their thickness, giving the false impression that the clouds are behind the sun. Moonlight has the same effect on cloud ice crystals.

Thanx for the thoughtful response. So your conjecturing that a water droplet, when it encounters cooler temperature crystalizes to form reflection that makes it “appear” to be behind the clouds? How can we set up to verify and prove correct? Should be able to be duplicated in a controlled environment, no?

The Flat Earth model is, for all intents and purposes, a limited physical space with various gatekeepers and physical restrictions keeping us from going too far up, down or across the flat plane. Nevertheless, our world seems to be the perfect size for any millions or supposed billions of human beings that live here and contains an almost unimaginable diversity of life within it’s boundaries. I think we all agree here, even those of you out there that believe in the globe Earth, that this realm is an extreme duality, Yin Yang experience. The Sun and Moon are obviously the perfect visible symbols of this for anyone with eyes to see. So what if the Sun and Moon really are only outwardly visible reflections of our inner self?
In any case, looking inward for the answers instead of trying to see further with modern technology might answer the kind of questions posed above.
And maybe some questions were never meant to be answered while we live in this incredible 3 Dimensional reality. It wouldn’t surprise me if I were to finally get that super powerful telescope, look across the vast flat plane Earth and see a smiley face in place of the Sun smiling back at me in the distance. 😀
Look inward my friends. Love each other and try and keep your sense of humor.
    Love to you all.

This guy said what I was trying to impart in my last post better than I ever could.
“The further and further we look out with our telescopes and the further and further we look in with our microscopes, the larger and larger and smaller and smaller the universe becomes in order to escape the investigation because we are the universe looking at itself.”

I recognize the power of personal and philosophical reflections stated above. I just don’t know how that leads to or connects with the explosion of scientific discoveries.

Things like the atomic model, microbial cause of diseases, and the combination of technologies that allow this form of interaction and communication (computing / internet / mobile phones /personal video production / etc.).

Robert of PLANATE VERITAS believes the Moon may be as low as 100mi (160km).
    Yes not 3000mi (4500km)

If the sun and moon were only 100 to 200 miles high that would help explain not being able to see the sun on the other side of the earth plane.

This would be 15 plus times as high as a commercial airplane flys. (33,000ft)

its not that complicated FYA, why not help solve the problem rather than ticky tacky inane questioning all the time. grows old and your not contributing to a better understanding by only “posing” questions. thank you for being more towards assisting rather than all the time questioning what others are commenting and posting.

Check out what happens to the Atmospheric Temperature at and after 100km.

Is this where the sun resides in its path around the earth plane.

It seems to me that perspective depend on the observer’s position. At ground level looking at a ship it appears to disappear but can be seen again through a telescope. The sun however is not at the level of the ship it is however high in the sky.The only way to track its disappearance and then pick it up again with a telescope is to get height. ??

Excellent point and would give further concordance with the water reflecting light up to the clouds hypothesis. Good stuff. How to test? Where is Brian Mullins when we need him?

Just a thought on your 1st question… Perhaps it is because the physical earth is flat, while the sky above us is proposed to have a dome shape. The lines of perspective on a flat surface may not necessarily follow the same perspective lines of a curved surface.
