Rob Skiba; A Biblical World View And One Man’s Quest For Truth

A Biblical World View And One Man’s Quest For Truth

Today is July 7, 2016. After more than a year of dedicated research, all I can say is our Earth and it’s nature and place in the cosmos is not what we have been told it is by modern science, or indeed by the Church either. The Bible has been used by the Church (and its associated Creationists) to try and justify the spinning, heliocentric globe of modern science by many (including myself) over the past few hundred years, but the one thing I can now say without reservation is that I am quite certain we can no longer use it for such purposes. Indeed, that is probably the only thing I am certain about at this point. The Bible absolutely, positively, no questions asked, is a Flat Earth book from Genesis to Revelation and any academic scholar who is being truly honest with the text will agree – as those of Logos Bible Software did:

Thus, to continue to try and make the Bible agree with modern science is to be totally dishonest with the text. I can no longer do that. It says what it says. The question is what are we going to do about it?

As for me, I have finally begun to be brutally honest with the text and with myself. As a result, I have really struggled with this subject concerning the Flat Earth. I’ve built my entire life and ministry on claiming the Bible as my source for truth and regularly proclaiming that we should take it literally. The problem is, if you do take it literally, you can no longer hold onto the spinning, heliocentric globe. Yet, that’s all we’ve ever known. It’s all we’ve ever been taught. It’s all we ever see. From the moment we were capable of learning anything, we’ve been influenced by the globe model. It is literally everywhere! But how many of us have ever questioned what we were taught? As of this writing, I am 47 years old and I can tell you, prior to a little over a year ago, I never once questioned it. Yet, in the Bible, the Apostle Paul told us we are to…

1 Thessalonians 5:21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.

Hence, the creation of this website. I created it specifically to “test the globe” in order to prove – one way or another – the nature of our world, from the Scriptures and from practical observation. Does the real world actually reflect the descriptions given in the Bible? I gave it my best shot to find out. Aside from a few breaks due to health problems and significant family drama, I spent the better part of the past year doing little else but this research. In fact, for six full months,I lived and breathed it from the time I woke up, until I went to bed. It’s fair to say, I was obsessed with it (and still am) and – at least in terms of our ministry and personal relationships – it has cost us quite a bit. But I promised myself, I would give a full 6 months of my time to investigate this subject, and that I did (from April 15 – October 15, 2015). Then from October until today (7/7/16), I began to work on other projects again, but this subject just would not leave me alone. The more I resisted, the more was presented to me to investigate and – though sometimes reluctantly – that I did within the limited time I had to do so. I had hoped that I would have much more of a solid handle on all of this by now, but I confess I do not. If anything, I have far more questions than I do answers.

Yes, it is true, the globalists do have some great arguments to justify their particular cosmological worldview. But in my opinion, so do the Flat Earthers. Perhaps of the most significance, the latter have the Bible and virtually all of the ancient historical record on their side:

I am 51 years old. I’ve only seen and examined the flat earth model in the last 60 days. I heard about it for a little over a year… people kept naggingly asking me to check it out… and I was busy, busy, busy. I finally heeded admonitions and exhortations that were a tad nagging as far as how I perceived them (being so busy with other things… and it’s hard to turn my attention from the task at hand). Well, it took no time at all for ALL of the lies of NASA to fall flat before my eyes. Less than one week. I’m NOT LOOKING BACK!!

The scripture does so declare… when a Bible study is done it is obvious… I have ZERO state of conflict over it… to HELL with the devil… I believe God and, beyond that, it’s obvious. Why would any MAN or an ENTIRE WORLD FULL OF MEN matter to me what they say?? I walk with THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY… and I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ for it is the power of God unto salvation to those who believe. The gospel is regarding the cross… Jesus Christ… who is God and the Word. The whole Bible is the gospel and all of it tells about Jesus Christ.

These people can just give up on trying to intimidate me or corrupt me with their peer pressure. Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord!! He will return and be seen by every eye… from a flat earth!! And what is man that I should be mindful of him?? No, I don’t care what anyone says… I have conviction of the Holy Ghost.

    God bless you!

I’m sorry, but Jesus did not really exist. You’re basing your life on a lie. Very sad.

      Jesus; Man or Myth?

Gee, I was just thinking how sad it is that you don’t know the truth if Jesus.

Funny how some people believe what they are told about a god or gods with absolutely zero proof but tell them the paint is wet and they have to touch to find out! That’s why people are so easy to control. Can anyone show me god or gods that care for their creation because I have never seen any evidence for a god that loves the human race. The Old Testament tells his ‘chosen people’ to kill every man, woman and child as they steal land across the middle east and in the New Testament this one true God is about love and forgiveness. So is the old book lies and the new book truth? Every religion in the world thinks it’s right so you know something’s drastically wrong somewhere!!!!
Why can people not just believe in a creator if they wish without religious clap trap and dogma? It’s called free thinking and that does not suit religion or politicians! Why does this site keep drifting away from FE???

This is embarrassing. This is what happens when we take our eyes off Christ. The gospel is this: all sin against a holy sovereign God will be judged and the penalty of that is death which we will all face but God sent Christ to pay the price of our spiritual debt so that we can live and be presented as justified on the day of Judgement. This is a serious truth that seems to be buried in all this nonsense. People: God is HOLY. What more love has He show than to send Christ to die in our place? There are only two kinds of people in this world: those who say God’s will be done and those to whom God says thy will be done. If you know Christ then stop following these silly movements, repent and take this gospel seriously, seek righteousness and pray for the lost and be that shining light in a dark world. For those who do not know Christ, just ask Him to prove Himself and show you who He is. Do you want to stand in your own righteousness before God on that day or would you rather know forgiveness now by believing in the only: and I mean the ONLY way to heaven: believe on the Lord Jesus who was crucified, died, buried and rose on the third day: in Him we have hope and there is none other.

This is serious…please stop the nonsense: many souls are at stake….

Would you please do an episode about Samson. Lots of confusion in our study groups. Are nephilim those with six fingers, elongated skulls, and special powers? If so was Samson a nephilim? What made him different than Og? Wasn’t Noah at least 10 feet. But he wasn’t a nephilim! Are nephilim only giants? We get the part about those mentioned of faith, but, Og was of one of the 10 tribes. Isn’t there forgiveness for them, too, in Jesus? Why would human hybrid giants ask Enoch to plead for them to God if not? Do you see the dilemma? Would make for a great quest for truth.

it wasnt the nephilim that asked Enoch to plead for them, it was the fallen angels themselves. God said “NO, in fact you will watch your bastard children die and then I will deal with you!” (paraphrased)
