How Big Is The International Space Station?


A Boeing 747 is 232 ft long and can reach a maximum altitude of 43,000 ft. When observed from the ground with the naked eye at this altitude it is so small it is barely visible.

The International Space Station is supposedly only 356 ft wide, a little over 50% bigger than a  Boeing 747, and “orbits the earth” at an altitude of 250 miles (1,320,000 ft) which is more than 30 times higher than a Boeing 747’s maximum altitude, yet it’s visible from the ground?

I don’t think so!
