Did rocket scientists participate in the concentration camp experiments though?

Von Braun and his team were NOT aware of the concentration camps or war crimes. They did know of instances where Jews were jailed, but that is all. Von Braun’s lifelong dream was space. That was his passion. He wanted to reach the stars, Moon and mars. I’ve read a ton on his life and he was an incredibly kind person. Yes, he was a member of the Nazi party. He was a rocket scientist and he was pursuing his passion when they came to him and ‘insusted’ He he a member. He feared Hitler and the Gestappo. He was even jailed by Himmler, head of SS, for a period of time. He did have to travel to Berlin and when he did, he feared he would be killed. He did not perform ‘tests’ on people. What a joke.
When wwii came to an end he approached the Americans and operation Paperclip did occur. Read about this from a CREDIBLE source, not this trash.
He was proud to call the United States his home and be in an environment that allowed him to pursue the stars. However THAT took time because the US govt was only interested in using his knowledge to build weapons of war during the Cold War. Thankfully MERCURY, GEMINI and APOLLO projects changed that.
I recommend reading: Dr. Space.
Some here in US were ready to not like him purely because of where he came from, when he first arrived. However, first hand accounts show they were wrong. He became dear friends with most he knew. Including Walter Cronkite, high army officials, astronaut John Glenn, and many others. The pace he loved most was his new home in Huntsville, AL. The people there loved him, dedicating the Von Braun Civiv Center in his name.
He was an incredible human being. One thing he said about Americans: he loved that people here did not ‘hold grudges’ – my how times have changed. Seeing sites like this shows the ignorance that exists in today’s world, and bitter judgementalism by people who omit the truth.
