    Just wondering how the sphere would change the 60`. Could you use a cardboard triangle and light, cast the shadow of the true 60degrees and see if it follows the drawn 2d triangle you drew on the 3d sphere? The leaning away from straight up/down/verticle as you travel north of equator would impact the 60degrees, lessen it is only just slightly on a globe v a flat plane, but we need to ACCOUNT for Perspective. Are we looking down at tiny desk globe or standing on massive globe. Would the change in perspective affect anything at all?
    just thinkin that 2d shapes such as triangle or 3d counterpart the pyramid CAN be rectangles or roads in 2d with a perspective change. Giza Pyramid Capstone found by Beau in qld australia and allseeingeye is graffitti over just a pic of sun setting over a ROAD into the Vanishing Point of human Perception.

    I’ll have to go and comment at utube but his drawn triangle has curvature factored into it.
    if he wants to go ahead and PROJECT a 2d shadow of a triangle and retake his measurements… but people GET from numbers what they WANT, just like sstatistics, you can get them to bend and cotort them to show what u want.

    Or would u need a wire frame triangle to lay ON the sphere so the CURVE pokes through so to speak… i love the human mind. Peace n Perspective

    IMHO: The problem here is you cannot use flat plane geometry laws (2 dimensional), in a 3 dimensional problem. eg #1) Gps single point coordinates on a sphere, from point A to point B will result in the shortest distance from point A to point B, below the surface of the sphere, not along the surface of the sphere! The larger problem is this….eg #2) the distance between lines of longitude at the equator reduces to zero at the north pole….it does not remain a constant as latitude lines do! We all know that! The flat plane gps coordinates use this lon data and will not work in a 3 dimensional equation as you move up the sphere in latitude! There must be a correction factor used. Major airlines fly over the great circle route from main land usa to asia for a reason. Gps results (they us lon data) tell us it is longer, but in reality it is the shorter route. Our maps and globes are drawn on a surface in error visually (globe or flat map), giving us incorrect visuals and confusion. Flat plane maps of the earth surface have to be stretched. A flat perfectly square mile of spherical surface is not perfectly square when flattened out onto a plane! It will become a 4 sided figure with each side becoming a bulging arc to the outside. This is why it is near impossible draw a flat plane map of a spherical surface like earth. You must stretch all the dimensions out of shape and they begin to lap over each other to the point is becomes unrecognizable, visually confusing and basically impossible!
