When the Sun, Earth, and Moon, are precisely aligned, a lunar eclipse will occur. During an eclipse the Earth blocks sunlight from reaching the Moon.
So what they are saying is all three must be in alignment, right?
So how can that happen when we are down here and the Sun and Moon are “Up There”???
Or another way of looking at it, what is the angle of a telescope looking at an Eclipse?
